Master Clock with 3rd-order Crystal Oscillators, Ultra-low Jitter, and a High-current Parallel Drive Circuit
Black Lion's Compact, Value-packed Master Clock
If you're looking for rock-solid clocking and outstanding value, Millionhead has your master clock. The Black Lion Audio Micro Clock MKII is a compact, streamlined design with third-order crystal oscillators, very low jitter, and a high-current parallel drive circuit that maintains the harmonic integrity of your signal under any load conditions. The Micro Clock MKII features Black Lion's proprietary noise-reduction circuitry to eliminate the undesirable switching harmonics commonly found in digital signals.
Two internal clocks for optimal stability
Compatible with all modern digital devices that have 75-ohm BNC word clock inputs, the Micro Clock MKII features three word clock outputs and six selectable output frequencies ranging from 44.1kHz to 192kHz. A front-panel toggle switch selects between multiples of 44.1kHz and 48kHz (the unit has two internal clocks). Black Lion subscribes to the proven theory that a dedicated clock for each multiple delivers a more stable lock than if the clock were derived from another value. A rotary selector lets you choose the speed (X1, X2, or X4) of the multiple you have selected.
