12" Surface Mount Subwoofer, Weather-Resistant with 8Ω
The AD-S112SW 12" Surface Mount Subwoofer from QSC is a low impedance, weather resistant, surface mount foreground and background loudspeaker, and it is an addition to the QSC Acoustic Design Series.
The subwoofer employs a long-throw, 12" direct radiating weather-treated driver, with a 2.5" voice coil. It includes yoke-mount hardware to optimize boundary-coupling, and M10 fittings on the enclosure allow the option for suspended or flown deployment. The AD-S112sw utilizes a TFR (Turbulent Flow Reduction) port, which provides optimized resonant tuning and high velocity air flow. Furthermore, the subwoofer features Directivity Matched Transition (DMT) technology for 105° axisymmetric coverage and is available in a black finish. Finally, the AD-S112sw features aluminum grills for added weather resistance and a paintable ABS enclosure, which is designed for lightweight and lasting speaker performance. The speaker operates at 8 ohms.
