The MXR M89 Bass Overdrive is a versatile electric bass overdrive effects pedal that specializes in tube-like sounds. The Drive control determines the amount of distortion in the analogue circuitry, from subtle boosting of the signal to a juicy grind for rock or metal. Whereas the Tone control allows you to adjust the tone, the MXR M89 Bass Overdrive's Dry control allows you to mix in the clean signal to preserve the definition and punch of the low end.
